The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The chapter on the rights of the husband over the wife":
After mentioning (may Allah have mercy on him) the rights of the wife over her husband, he mentioned the rights of the husband over his wife, and then he cited as evidence the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nisa 4:34].
His saying, the Exalted:[An-Nisa 4:34]: means that he is the one who has authority over the woman, managing her, guiding her, and commanding her, so she obeys him, except if he commands her to disobey Allah, in which case there is no obedience to him and no listening to him, Mishkat al-Masabih 3696, no matter who this created being is.
Then Allah the Exalted explained the reason for this authority and guardianship that Allah established, saying:[An-Nisa 4:34]: where He has made men superior to women in intellect, religion, prudence, capability, strength, and other aspects of excellence. The Shari'ah is entirely just, giving everyone what they deserve based on their excellence. So if Allah has made men superior to women, then they are the protectors and maintainers over them. In this verse is clear evidence of the superiority of the male sex over the female sex, and that men are more perfect, better, and more deserving of guardianship than women. For this reason, when it was said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): , a people will not succeed if they place their affairs in the hands of a woman.

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard
