What is the ruling on the two adhan for the Friday prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A listener named Muhammad Ali al-Jamal from the Arab Republic of Egypt—Damietta—said in his first question: I have noticed in your country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that there are two adhan for the Friday prayer, and this is incorrect; for when the imam used to ascend the pulpit, a single adhan was called before him, and all the books of the Sunnah support this.
So I hope you will refer this to the competent authorities, such as the Department of Ifta, headed by His Eminence Shaykh: Abdulaziz ibn Baz, so that Allah may establish the truth and invalidate falsehood?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
Yes, it is as the questioner said. In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), there was one adhan along with the iqamah. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered for the sermon and the prayer, the mu'adhdhin would call the adhan, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the two sermons, and then the iqamah would be called for the prayer. This is the known matter, and it is what the Sunnah brought, as the questioner said, and it is a matter well known among the people of knowledge and faith.
Then, when the people increased in number in the city of Madinah during the time of the Rightly Guided Caliph Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), he saw fit to add a third adhan, which is called the first adhan, in order to alert the people that the day is Friday, so that they would prepare and hasten to the prayer before the customary, well-known adhan after the sun passes its zenith. The Companions followed him in this during his time; among them were Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) , Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf al-Zuhri, one of the Ten, and al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, also one of the Ten, and Talhah ibn Ubayd Allah, and other prominent and senior Companions. And so the Muslims proceeded in this manner in most of the cities and lands, following what the Rightly Guided Caliph (may Allah be pleased with him) Uthman did, and the Rightly Guided Caliph Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also followed him in this, and may Allah be pleased with them all. And so did the rest of the Companions.
The point is: that this occurred during the caliphate of Uthman and after, and most of the Muslims in the cities and eras continued with it until this day; this is because they adopted this Sunnah that Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) did, based on an ijtihad he performed and as advice to the Muslims, and there is no harm in that; because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Hold fast to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me. Hold fast to it and grip it with your teeth.عليكم بسنتي، وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين من بعدي، تمسكوا بها، وعضوا عليها بالنواجذ
and he is one of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with him) , and the public benefit in this is apparent. Therefore, the people of the Sunnah and the community adopted it and saw no harm in it, because it is from the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs Uthman and Ali and the Companions who were present at that time (may Allah be pleased with them all) , yes.
