What is the ruling on the first adhan for the Friday prayer?

Yes, it has two adhan calls. The first one was seen as good by 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and he was pleased with it during his caliphate. 'Umar ibn al-Khattab saw the introduction of a new adhan so that people would be alerted to the Friday prayer, prepare for it, and come to it. This was during the time of 'Umar. As for the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the time of al-Siddiq, and the time of 'Umar, there was only one adhan when the khatib entered, when the khatib entered after the sun passed its zenith. But 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and he was pleased with this second adhan, which is the first, called the first, for this benefit, and he is one of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them) , about whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Therefore, the Muslims have practiced this from that time until our time, and it is better. Yes, it is better for it to have two adhan calls, the first of which is called the second adhan, and it is the first, for the benefit of the Muslims so that they are alerted to the Friday prayer and so that they attend. Yes.
