The ruling on a woman who breastfed her child during Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
السؤال:
This is a questioner for the program who says: In Ramadan of a past year, she was breastfeeding her child while fasting. Does she have to make up the fast?
Answer:
If she broke her fast, yes, she has to make it up. But if she did not break her fast, the fact that she was breastfeeding does not harm her if she was fasting. However, if she broke her fast for the sake of breastfeeding, she has to make it up. If she delays making it up until after the second Ramadan, she must make up the fasts and feed a poor person for each day. But if she makes them up before Ramadan, she only has to make up the fasts and does not have to feed anyone; she makes up the days she owes, and praise be to Allah. But if she delays making them up without an excuse until another Ramadan comes, she must make up the fasts and feed a poor person half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) for each day, in addition to making up the fasts.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
