The ruling on women praying with the imam in a place adjacent to the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner from Riyadh mentions in her question: In the neighborhood mosque, there is a school for memorizing the Qur'an specifically for women. It is located in the rear part of the mosque and is separated from it by a wall with a closed door between them. This school teaches, or the students study in it, even if they are menstruating, due to its separation from the mosque.
The question is: If one of the relatives dies, the women perform the funeral prayer following the imam in the funeral prayer and the obligatory prayer with him in this place, meaning the school. What is the ruling on this action, and is the prayer valid?

Answer:
As long as they can see the imam and the congregation, there is no harm; the prayer is valid. This is because it is not an annex to the mosque, so there is no harm in menstruating women and others attending it, as long as it is outside the mosque’s enclosure. If the women pray behind the imam in a funeral prayer or an obligatory prayer, and they can see the imam or the congregation and hear the voice, there is no harm. Praise be to Allah. Yes.

The presenter: Praise be to Allah.
