If the house is adjacent to the mosque and shares a wall with it, may women pray in it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If the house is connected to the mosque and adjacent to it, may women pray in congregation with the imam?

The Shaykh : But it is outside the mosque.

The questioner : It may share one wall with the mosque.

The Shaykh : If the mosque’s wall encloses it, it is part of the mosque. If it is outside and protruding, it is not part of the mosque, and it is not permissible to allow women to pray there. It is said: “Open the space between this building and the mosque,” and in that case, it becomes part of the mosque.
