Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man gathered wealth from what is forbidden, and after he became wealthy, he says: he began to worship. What is the legal ruling regarding this debt in his wealth?
Answer:
He should give in charity what entered him from what is forbidden, if he knows it. He should give in charity the equivalent of what entered him from the forbidden, or he should make an effort if he does not remember. He should make an effort and give in charity what he estimates to be the equivalent of what entered him from the forbidden. He should repent to Allah, cease, feel remorse, and ask his Lord for forgiveness. Praise be to Allah[At-Taghabun 64:16]
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
