The invalidity of the claim that the miswak is forbidden for women
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I heard that the miswak is forbidden for women! Is this true?
Answer:
It is not true. The miswak is prescribed for everyone, for men and women, at prayer, at ablution, when entering the prayer, when performing ablution, when entering the home, when the mouth changes, and when waking from sleep. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in an authentic hadith:Sunan an-Nasa'i 5Sahih (Darussalam), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 47Sahih (Al-Albani), and in another wording: . He did not specify men, but it was general for the Ummah. So it is prescribed for both men and women. However, many people speak about Allah without knowledge, they lie, and they do not care. We ask Allah for safety.
The duty of the believing man and woman is to be cautious of what Allah has forbidden, such as lying. So no one should say, "This is forbidden and this is lawful," except based on evidence and proof. It is not permissible for a woman or a man to speak about Allah without knowledge, neither regarding the miswak nor anything else. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-A'raf: 33]. He placed speaking about Him without knowledge above shirk (associating partners with Allah), above the rank that is the greatest danger, which is shirk with Allah .
The point is that speaking about Allah without knowledge has a great danger, to the extent that Allah mentioned it in this verse above the rank of shirk; because shirk is speaking about Allah without knowledge. And He informed in Surat al-Baqarah that Satan commands this, so He the Exalted said regarding Satan: [Al-Baqarah: 169]. This is how He informed . Before that, Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah: 168-169]. This is the command of the enemy of Allah, who commands people to speak about Allah without knowledge, due to the resulting misguidance, leading others astray, and great corruption. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.

Siwak is a means of purification for the mouth and is pleasing to the Lord.
Were it not hard on my ummah, I would order them to use the tooth-stick at the time of every prayer.
With every ablution

Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know."
The point is that speaking about Allah without knowledge has a great danger, to the extent that Allah mentioned it in this verse above the rank of shirk; because shirk is speaking about Allah without knowledge. He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.
(168) O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. (169) He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
