Ruling on performing the lesser pilgrimage on behalf of the incapacitated and the elderly

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to perform the lesser pilgrimage for my mother, who has passed the age of sixty-five, while I am currently performing the obligatory Hajj this year?

Answer:
If she is incapacitated and unable to come for Hajj due to her advanced age and her incapacity from an illness that afflicted her or an advanced age that hindered her, then there is nothing wrong with it.
However, if she is able to come because of her physical health, then it is not permissible for someone to perform it on her behalf, neither in Hajj nor in the lesser pilgrimage, because the dispensation was only for those who are incapacitated due to their advanced age.
