We pray in a large mosque, and a large number of people pray with us, but the mosque cannot accommodate them all, and the temperature outside the mosque is very cold, so they are unable to pray.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Jamal Sa'id from the city of Chicago asks the following question and says: We pray in a large mosque, and a large number of people pray with us, but the mosque cannot accommodate them all, and the temperature outside the mosque is very cold, so they are unable to pray outside the mosque. Can we perform two Eid prayers, one at nine o’clock and the other at ten o’clock? Please advise us. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : If the matter is as stated in the questioner’s question, the legal principle states: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.” Therefore, those who were unable to pray the Eid prayer with the first congregation may pray it a second time after them, specifically for their sake. As for those who prayed the first prayer, they should not repeat it.
