Q4: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say while he was in prostration, and what is the preferred supplication that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say?
A4: He used to say in his prostration: and he would say: Sahih Muslim 483 , and he would say: Sahih Muslim 487a , and he would say: Sahih al-Bukhari 4293 . It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 875Sahih (Al-Albani) narrated by Muslim, and this hadith indicates the prescription of increasing in good supplication during prostration, whether the prayer is obligatory or voluntary. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

اللهم اغفر لي ذنبي كله دقه وجله وأوله وآخره وعلانيته وسرهAll Glorious, All Holy, Lord of the Angels and the Spirit.
سبوح قدوس رب الملائكة والروحSubhanaka Allahumma Rabbanã wa bihamdika, Allãhumma ighfirli
سبحانك اللهم ربنا وبحمدك، اللهم اغفر ليThe nearest a servant come to his Lord is when he is prostrating himself, so make supplication often.
أقرب ما يكون العبد من ربه وهو ساجد فأكثروا الدعاء
