What is the ruling on dyeing the beard with a dark black dye?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
O Noble Shaykh! The questioner, Khalid from al-Qasim, says: O Noble Shaykh, may Allah preserve you! What is the ruling on dyeing the beard with a dark black dye?

Answer:
It is not permissible to dye the beard or anything else black. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Change this gray hair and avoid black.غيروا هذا الشيب واجتنبوا السواد
. This is how he (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded
When the father of al-Idh (the sincere one) was brought to him, and his head and beard were white like the beak of a hoopoe, he said to Abu Bakr: Change this white hair and avoid black.لما جيء إليه بوالد الصديق ورأسه ولحيته كالثغامة بياضًا، قال لأبي بكر: غيروا هذا الشيب واجتنبوا السواد
. Therefore, it is not permissible to change white hair to black, whether for a woman or a man. However, there is no harm in using a mixture of black and red, which is between black and red, not a dark black, but rather between black and red, or using red, or yellow.
