The ruling on one who is advised by a doctor not to perform Hajj despite being able to do so

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister also says: The doctor advised me not to perform Hajj ever, even though I feel capable of doing so?

Answer:
If you know from yourself that you have the ability, then the doctor’s advice is of no account, and there is no basis for the doctor’s advice. If a mahram is available, travel for Hajj, seek help from Allah, and do not pay attention to the doctor’s words while you know from yourself that you have the ability. Allah the Exalted says:
And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a wayوَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا
[Al-Imran: 97].
And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Islam, he said:
Al-Islam implies that you testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and you establish prayer, pay Zakat, observe the fast of Ramadan, and perform pilgrimage to the (House) if you are solvent enough (to bear the expense of) the journey.أن تشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأن محمدًا رسول الله، وتقيم الصلاة، وتؤتي الزكاة، وتصوم رمضان، وتحج البيت إن استطعت إليه سبيلًا
Sahih Muslim 8a
, so seek help from Allah and perform Hajj, and do not travel except with a mahram, such as a brother, an uncle, or a maternal uncle, or the like. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
