The ruling on one who suspects she is under a spell because she has not married, and the treatment for it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A sister of ours from Algeria says: (S. B. M. B) she says: Sorcery has been mentioned in the Book of Allah, and this confirms with the utmost certainty that sorcery is something whose existence we must believe in. This is my problem. I am twenty-eight years old and have not yet married, and I have a doubt that I am under a spell. What is the path I should take so that what I fear stays away from me? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
This, my daughter, is delusions. You should not believe in them. These are delusions, not sorcery, but they are the delusions that frighten people. When something in their affairs is delayed, they imagine things. So you should not believe in this. Yes, sorcery exists and has causes, but the delay of marriage, or the delay of selling a commodity, or the prolongation of an illness does not indicate sorcery. Rather, it may happen for other reasons.
And if you have felt that someone has done something that caused you harm, the treatment is available, praise be to Allah. The treatment exists in the words of Allah and the words of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). The best and most preferred treatment is the Noble Qur'an: reciting verses and blowing with them upon the one under a spell. This is among the causes of healing. Allah has made His Book a healing for every ailment and a healing for every evil, as He said: :
Say, "It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure."
[Surat al-Fussilat: 44], and He said: :
O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.
[Surat Yunus: 57], and He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said:
And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers
[Surat al-Isra: 82].
The entire Qur'an is a healing, especially if the reciter is a believer known for uprightness who recites for the patient, blows upon him, and makes du'a for him. There is no doubt that this is among the causes of the answer being granted. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ruqyah. He used to perform ruqyah for some of his Companions (peace and blessings be upon him), and Jibril performed ruqyah for him. So ruqyah is a known matter. In the hadith:
No Ruqyah except for the (evil) eye and the scorpion sting.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2057Sahih (Darussalam)
, meaning: there is no ruqyah more preferred and more healing than for the evil eye or a venomous bite. And (al-'ayn) is from the eye of the one who casts the evil eye, and (al-himah) is the venom of venomous creatures. So sorcery is removed. If a woman suspects she is under a spell, or a man does so based on signs and indicators, let him use what Allah has prescribed of du'a and asking Allah for well-being. There is no harm in seeking the help of some scholars known for goodness to recite for him and blow upon him. This is among the causes of healing.
Among the causes of healing is also reciting the verses of sorcery in Surat al-A'raf, Yunus, and Ta-Ha into a vessel, then reciting with them Ayat al-Kursi and
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and the two chapters of protection (al-Mu'awwidhatayn), then drinking from it three gulps... three sips, then taking a bath with the remainder. This has been tried and proven for the removal of sorcery if sorcery exists, tried and proven for the removal of sorcery, and tried and proven for the healing of a man if he is prevented from his wife.
And if seven leaves of green sidr are put in the water, crushed and placed in the water, this is also among the causes of healing. Many scholars have pointed this out, and Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasan pointed it out in his book Fath al-Majid fi Sharh Bab Ma Ja'a fi al-Nashrah.
The point is that this, praise be to Allah, has a treatment like all other diseases have a treatment. Treatment is among the greatest causes by which Allah heals the servant if he is sincere, pure in intention for Allah, humble before Allah, and asks Him for well-being. He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is near and responsive. And He is the One who said:
Call upon Me; I will respond to you.
[Surat Ghafir: 60], and Allah is the One to be asked for help. Yes.

The presenter: Allah is the Helper.
