Question:
A message reached the program from one of the listening brothers, the listener whose request is Ibrahim Muhammad. The brother asks and says: Explain to us the saying of the Truth, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Al-Dhuha:5]?
Answer:
The texts state that Allah promised the Lord (Exalted and Majestic is He) promised the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would be a helper to his Ummah. Among this is that He permits him to intercede, so he intercedes for them to enter Paradise, and he intercedes for many of those who entered the Fire to be brought out of it. This is among what Allah gave him (peace and blessings be upon him). Likewise, the intercession for the people of the standing place until judgment is passed between them; all of this is what Allah distinguished him with: the intercession for the people of the standing place and the intercession for the people of Paradise until they enter it.
Allah also gave him the intercession for the sinners from his Ummah who entered the Fire, that he may intercede for them. He intercedes for a large number, and Allah sets a limit for him, but this is not exclusive to him. The intercession for those who entered the Fire is not exclusive to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); rather, the believers, the angels, and the righteous intercede for them. So this is not specific to him (peace and blessings be upon him). As for the intercession for the people of the standing place until judgment is passed between them, and the intercession for the people of Paradise until they enter it, this is specific to him (peace and blessings be upon him).
He has a third intercession specific to him, which is the intercession for his uncle Abu Talib until his punishment was lightened. He was in the depths of the Fire, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) interceded for him until he was in a shallow part of the Fire, but he did not come out of the Fire; rather, he remains in the Fire. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
