The ruling on one who justifies selling tobacco by his need for customers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some people argue, saying: "If I don't sell tobacco, they won't buy from me." Is there any guiding word for them?

Answer:
This is not a valid legal excuse. It is like the one who says, "If I don't put out intoxicants, no one will come to me." This is not an excuse. He must fear Allah and be cautious of what Allah has forbidden, even if no people come to him. What Allah has decreed will come. He should put out goods that people benefit from, whether they come or not. He is not required to put out anything forbidden. This is from the whisperings of Satan and from Satan's deception.
