The Ruling on Some Supplications Used to Drive Away Satan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I read in the book: (Protecting the Human Being from Jinn and Satan) under the title: How do you drive jinn out of the house? It says: If you are actually certain that there is a jinni in the house, the method of expelling it is as follows: You go with two other people to this house and say: I call upon you by the covenant that Sulayman took from you to come out or leave our house. I call upon you by Allah to come out and not harm anyone. Repeat this for three days. If you then feel something in the house, bring water in a container, put your finger in it, bring it close to your mouth, and say: In the name of Allah, we believe in Allah from Whom nothing is withheld, and by the majesty of Allah which does not diminish, and the mighty authority of Allah, we take refuge. To the end of the supplication. Then you recite Surat al-Saffat until the saying of Allah the Exalted:
but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
[Al-Saffat: 10]. Then after this, you sprinkle the water on the sides of the house, and they will come out from it by the permission of Allah the Exalted. What is the ruling on this?

Answer:
There is no evidence for this. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) guided to something more concise than this. He said: A person should say when entering a house: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created. This is how he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When anyone lands at a place, and then says:" I seek refuge in the Perfect Word of Allah from the evil of what He has created," nothing would harm him until he marches from that stopping place.من نزل منزلًا فقال: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق؛ لم يضره شيء حتى يرتحل من منزله ذلك
Sahih Muslim 2708a
If he feels something, let him say this and repeat: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created. And likewise: In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. And he should increase in reciting the Qur'an. This is sufficient, praise be to Allah. This is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) guided to and taught his Ummah.
And if something like salt is tried and sprinkled in the house, or something that is beneficial; there is no harm if something is tried that is beneficial, that harms them and drives them out, and there is no danger in it, so there is nothing wrong with it. But the original basis is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained and guided to.
