Does sincere repentance turn bad deeds into good ones?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
When are bad deeds turned into good ones?

Answer:
When one repents and acts,
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous workإِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا
[Al-Furqan: 70].

Q: Does sincere repentance turn bad deeds into good ones?
A: Yes, they are turned into good ones, as in the noble verses in Al-Furqan: when one repents and does good, Allah replaces every bad deed with a good one,
But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى
[Ta-Ha: 82],
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous workإِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا
[Al-Furqan: 70], meaning: he added to the repentance by performing good deeds to make up for what had passed.
