What does one do if he sees something in his dream that distresses him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a person recites the adhkar and then sees something in his dream that distresses him, does it still happen?

Answer:
He does what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said. If he sees something that distresses him, he does what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, observing the prescribed etiquettes.
Before sleeping, he says: "In the name of Allah I die and I live. In Your name, my Lord, I lay my side down, and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You release it, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants. O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day when You resurrect Your servants." Then he recites Ayat al-Kursi, and he recites
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and the two Mu'awwidhat three times. All of this is from the Sunnah and from the prescribed forms of seeking refuge.
And he says at the end of his supplication: "O Allah, I have submitted my soul to You, entrusted my affair to You, turned my face to You, and cast my back upon You, in hope and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You sent." He makes this the last thing he recites.
It is recommended for him to seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created, three times, and to say: "In the name of Allah, with whom nothing in the earth or in the sky can cause harm," three times. All of these are among the means of protection.
Likewise: "O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Opener of the grain and the seed, Sender down of the Torah and the Gospel and the Criterion, I seek refuge in You from everything by which You seize the forelock. You are the First, so there is nothing before You, and You are the Last, so there is nothing after You, and You are the Manifest, so there is nothing above You, and You are the Hidden, so there is nothing beneath You. Settle my debt and enrich me from poverty." All of this is recommended for him when he goes to sleep.
