Are the Eid prayer grounds considered mosques and subject to their rulings?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The Eid prayer grounds are now walled off and closed to the people. Are they considered mosques?

Answer:
From the standpoint of caution and avoiding disagreement, yes, this is a matter of caution and avoiding disagreement; so that they are not disrespected, and so that no filth is thrown in them. This is a matter of precaution, and of keeping them pure and clean for the people.
As for whether they are a mosque that requires the greeting of the mosque, or where it is forbidden for a person in a state of major ritual impurity or a menstruating woman to sit, that is a matter of consideration. However, keeping the mosque clean and protected from filth is good and important.
