Response to the claim that hijab is a deterrent to looking at and being captivated by women

What is your opinion of those who believe that the hijab of the Muslim woman, and her covering, is a cause of longing to see her, and that if she uncovered her face and her arms, it would be a cause of not longing to look at her, or to gaze at her?

Answer:
This is from the schemes of the enemies of Allah, and this is from the plots of Shaytan. The enemies of Allah say to them, and the wicked among women say to them: If you uncovered yourself, if she uncovered her face and her arms, then what she has would have no value, no importance, and people would not look at her. And if she wears the hijab, people are tempted by her. This is from the plots of Shaytan. After that, they may say to her: If she walked naked, it would be better. This is the result. We ask Allah for safety from this.
The conclusion: This is one of the schemes of Shaytan and the schemes of the enemies of Allah. Allah made the hijab a barrier against evil. He said in His great Book, and He is the most truthful of speakers: [Al-Ahzab:53] Thus says our Lord (Glorified and Exalted is He) : The hijab is purer for our hearts and the hearts of all women. This indicates that the absence of the hijab is more impure for the hearts, not purer, and that it defiles them.
