Exhortation to Care for the Hijab

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I have a friend whom I love very much, and she is like a sister to me. She is committed to the matters of her religion; she performs the prayer, fasts the month of Ramadan, stays away from evil matters, and is adorned with noble morals. However, despite my insistence that she wear the hijab, she has not worn it yet. How do you advise me and her? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer: It is obligatory for every Muslim woman to care for the hijab; because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) commanded it. He says in His great Book to the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.
[Al-Ahzab:53]. If the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are commanded to wear the hijab, and they are the best of women, then others are even more so. And Satan is bolder with others. For this reason, He says (Glorified and Exalted is He):
And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.
[Al-Ahzab:53]. And if the hijab was purer for the hearts of the believers in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and purer for the hearts of the believing women in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), including his wives (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), then purity is more intense and more intense for those who came after them. So the need for purity in the hearts of those who came after them is more intense and more intense; because those righteous ones were stronger in faith and more perfect in faith. So if the hijab is purer for their hearts, it is purer for the hearts of those who came after them as well. Yes.
And also His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abusedيَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلابِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلا يُؤْذَيْنَ
[Al-Ahzab:59]. The jilbab covers the entire body, the head, the face, and the body. And also His saying (Glorified and Exalted is He) regarding women:
except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sonsوَلا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ...
[An-Nur:31] the verse. This indicates that the adornment must be covered and hidden from non-mahram men; and a woman only shows her adornment to her mahrams, such as her husband, her father, her son, her father-in-law, her brother, her uncle, and the like. Then also another command is that displaying the adornment is one of the causes of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). The believing woman should stay away from the causes of fitnah. Yes.
