Shaykh Abdul Aziz, the first message in this episode is from one of our brother listeners, (J. A. M.) from the Commission for Promoting Virtue and Prohibiting Vice. Our brother concluded his message by saying: I hope the message is presented to His Eminence Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz. He asks and says: What is the degree of authenticity of the hadith narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the meaning of which is: And the other hadith, the meaning of which is: I hope you will inform me about these two hadiths, if you please?
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for the first hadith, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): This is an authentic hadith, and it has various wordings, among which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih al-Bukhari 110.
Among them is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih Muslim 2266a in several wordings that came from him (peace and blessings be upon him). The meaning of this is that the enemy of Allah, Shaytan, has been prevented from taking the form of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So whoever sees the Prophet in a dream has seen the truth, and has seen him (peace and blessings be upon him), if he sees him in the form that is known to the scholars of knowledge, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was of medium stature, handsome in appearance, white with a reddish tint, with a thick black beard, and in the last part of his life, a few white hairs appeared in it (peace and blessings be upon him). So whoever sees him in his true form has seen him, for Shaytan does not take his form (peace and blessings be upon him).
As for the second hadith: This has no basis and is not authentic. Yes.
Whoever sees me has truly seen me
Indeed, whoever sees me is protected from the Fire
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for the first hadith, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever sees me has truly seen me
And whoever sees me in a dream then surely he has seen me for Satan cannot impersonate me.
Among them is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
He who saw me in a dream in fact saw me, for the satan does not appear in my form.
As for the second hadith:
Whoever sees me is protected from the Fire
