The Shaykh : Then, I remind all the brothers in every part of the world to strive to seek this correct knowledge, derived from the Book and the Sunnah, and following the path of our righteous predecessors, accompanied by action, accompanied by action; otherwise, their knowledge will be an argument against them, as stated in many, many hadiths that encourage acting upon knowledge and command people to convey knowledge, not just convey it, but to have it accompanied by action, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith: , and the hadith of the three narrated in "Sahih Muslim" is a very terrifying hadith; namely, his (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: ; meaning: that he spread knowledge not for the sake of Allah, but for showing off, fame, and prominence, . These are the first ones for whom the Fire will be kindled on the Day of Resurrection. Why? Because they did not have sincerity in their worship of their Lord: the scholar in his knowledge, the fighter in his jihad, and the wealthy man in his charity. Therefore, we advise all Muslims to learn the correct knowledge and to accompany it with action that is pure for the sake of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He).
The one who teaches people knowledge but does not act upon it is like a lamp that burns itself and illuminates for others.
The first ones for whom the Fire will be kindled on the Day of Resurrection are three: a scholar, a fighter, and a wealthy man. As for the scholar, he will be asked: "What did you do with what you knew?" He will say: "O my Lord, I taught people." It will be said to him: "You lied; you only taught so that people would say: So-and-so is a scholar, and that has been said. Take him to the Fire."
Then the fighter will be brought and asked: "What did you do with the strength given to you?" He will say: "O my Lord, I fought in Your cause." It will be said to him: "You lied; you only fought so that people would say: So-and-so is brave, so-and-so is a hero, and that has been said. Take him to the Fire." Then the wealthy man will be brought and asked: "What did you do with the wealth bestowed upon you?" He will say: "O my Lord, I spent it in Your cause." It will be said to him: "You lied; you only spent so that people would say: So-and-so is generous, and that has been said. Take him to the Fire."
