The ruling on one who prevents his mother from visiting her daughters without a valid reason

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I have a grandmother who lives with my uncle and his family, and they dislike her. My uncle does not buy her clothes, and he does not let her go to her daughters except once every five months. All her daughters and their husbands wish for her to perform Hajj to the Sacred House of Allah, but he does not care. Is all of this permissible for him? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.
Answer: It is obligatory for her brother, who is your uncle, not to prevent her from seeing her daughters, and not to prevent her from performing Hajj. This is not permissible for him. Rather, it is obligatory for him to assist in good and to help in good, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
And whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs.من كان في حاجة أخيه كان الله في حاجته
Sahih al-Bukhari 6951
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.والله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1425Sahih (Darussalam)
So if her daughters and her daughters' husbands are not evil, and there is no fear for her from them, then it is not permissible for him to prevent her. However, if he prevents her for a legal reason; because her daughters are not good and they harm her, and likewise their husbands harm her due to their misguidance or their open sinfulness and display of their sins, or their harm to her in some way, this is a different matter.
And if her daughters wish to visit her, let them contact their maternal uncle and discuss the matter with him so that they may know the reasons for which the prevention is occurring.
The point is: he has no right to prevent her except for a legal reason. Yes.
