What is the response to those who deny the hadith of the fly? And the infallibility of the Prophets

The question: The first message in this episode is a message that reached the program from one of the listening brothers. He says (Z. A. A.), a Sudanese resident in Riyadh. Our brother is asking about a set of issues, among which is this issue. He says: I heard an Islamic scholar say: The Messenger ﷺ makes mistakes! Is this correct?
And I have also heard that Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Every one of us is one who rejects and one who is rejected, except the occupant of this grave.
And there is a set of issues I would like to ask about, especially the hadith of the fly:, I ask you to kindly address these issues, especially since there are people who have dared to deny the last hadith whose meaning I mentioned to you?
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what comes after: The Muslims have unanimously agreed that the Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them), especially their seal Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), are infallible from error in what they convey from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) regarding rulings, as He said: :[An-Najm 53:1] Your companion has not gone astray, nor has he erred. Nor does he speak from desire. It is not but a revelation that is revealed. [Al-Najm: 1-4]. So our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is infallible in everything he conveys from Allah regarding the Shari'ah, in speech and action. There is no dispute among the people of knowledge regarding this.
And the majority of the people of knowledge also held that he is infallible from major sins, but not from minor ones. A minor sin may occur, but he does not approve of it; rather, he points it out and leaves it. As for worldly matters, an error may occur, and then he is pointed out to it, as happened to him (peace and blessings be upon him) when he passed by a group who were pollinating [palm trees]. He said:. When they left it, it became dry, so they informed him. He said (peace and blessings be upon him): . So he (peace and blessings be upon him) made it clear that people are more knowledgeable about their worldly affairs: how they pollinate, how they plant, how they sow, how they harvest... and other such worldly matters, how they build their dwellings... and so on. And this hadith was narrated by Muslim in the Sahih.
As for what he conveys from Allah regarding matters of religion, of worship and rulings, that this is lawful and this is forbidden, that Allah commanded such and such or prohibited such and such, or that this has such and such benefit and this has such and such harm, all of this is truth. He (peace and blessings be upon him) does not speak from desire; rather, he is infallible in that (peace and blessings be upon him). So the statement of whoever says: He makes mistakes, with this generalization, is an error. This generalization is not permissible, and it should not be said.
But if he says: An error may occur from him in worldly matters, and he is pointed out to it, or in some minor sins, this is what the majority of the people of knowledge said. However, he does not approve of the error; rather, he is pointed out to it and clarifies to people what error may have occurred, as occurred in the issue of pollination, the pollination of palm trees. He clarified to them (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said it based on his opinion, not based on revelation from Allah. He clarified to them that if it benefits them, they should do it. Thus, it became known that worldly matters are up to people.
And as for what he informs about from Allah, or what he asserts and says about it such and such, like how he informed about many things (peace and blessings be upon him). He informed about the black seed:. And he (peace and blessings be upon him) informed about honey and that it contains healing, as Allah informed about that in His great Book. All of this is truth. And so is what he commanded of rulings: of prayer, fasting, zakah, and charity, all of it is truth. And so is what he prohibited of sins and violations, all of it is truth by the consensus of the Muslims. There is no error in it, but all of it is truth, and all of it was spoken by him based on truth (peace and blessings be upon him).
And the statement of Malik (may Allah have mercy on him): There is no one among us but one who rejects and one who is rejected, except the occupant of this grave. This is a correct statement that the scholars accepted. And Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) is among the best of the scholars of the Muslims, and he is the Imam of the City of Migration in his time in the second century. And his statement is a correct statement that the scholars accepted. Every individual among the scholars rejects and is rejected; he may err in some issues. As for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), he does not say anything but the truth (peace and blessings be upon him). So he is not rejected, but his speech is all truth in what he conveys from Allah and in what he asserts and says: It is such and such. He is assertive, so all of this is truth.
And so is the hadith of the fly. He informed about it assertively and said:Bulugh al-Maram 14. So this is a valid hadith narrated by al-Bukhari in his Sahih, and it has corroborations from the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri and from the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) . It is a valid hadith that the Ummah accepted. And whoever casts doubt in it is mistaken and ignorant, and it is not permissible to rely on him. And whoever says: It is among worldly matters and falls under the hadith: Sahih Muslim 2363 has erred; because the Messenger ﷺ asserted this. He did not say: I think. He asserted and commanded. This is encouragement from the Messenger ﷺ; because he said: Sahih al-Bukhari 3320.
So this is a command from him ﷺ and legislation. And he does not err in the Shari'ah, and he does not say anything but the truth (peace and blessings be upon him). And whoever claims that this hadith is an error or contradictory from the perspective of pollination has erred and is ignorant, and has said what he does not have knowledge of. And the Messenger is more knowledgeable about that; because he does not speak from desire (peace and blessings be upon him). So what is prescribed for the believer if a fly falls into his drink, whether milk or water, is that he should dip it and then throw it out, and then drink his drink when he wishes, and take his food when he wishes. There is no harm in it. The disease in one of its wings, which it is protected by, is removed by what is in the second wing, and the drink and milk remain sound with nothing in it, as the Chosen One (peace and blessings be upon him) said. Yes.
And I have also heard that Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Every one of us is one who rejects and one who is rejected, except the occupant of this grave.
And there is a set of issues I would like to ask about, especially the hadith of the fly:
If a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, let him dip it; because in one of its wings is a disease and in the other is a cure
إذا وقع الذباب في إناء أحدكم فليغمسه؛ لأن في أحد جناحيه داء والآخر دواءAnswer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَى And the majority of the people of knowledge also held that he is infallible from major sins, but not from minor ones. A minor sin may occur, but he does not approve of it; rather, he points it out and leaves it. As for worldly matters, an error may occur, and then he is pointed out to it, as happened to him (peace and blessings be upon him) when he passed by a group who were pollinating [palm trees]. He said:
I do not think it would harm it if you left it alone.
ما أظنه يضره لو تركتموهI only said it based on my opinion, and you are more knowledgeable about your worldly affairs. As for what I inform you about from Allah, I will not lie about Allah
إنما قلت ظناً وأنتم أعلم بأمر دنياكم، أما ما أخبركم به عن الله فإني لن أكذب على اللهAs for what he conveys from Allah regarding matters of religion, of worship and rulings, that this is lawful and this is forbidden, that Allah commanded such and such or prohibited such and such, or that this has such and such benefit and this has such and such harm, all of this is truth. He (peace and blessings be upon him) does not speak from desire; rather, he is infallible in that (peace and blessings be upon him). And so is the hadith of the fly. He informed about it assertively and said:
When a fly falls in the drink of one of you, he should fully dip it and then throw it away because there is disease in one of its wings and cure in the other
إذا وقع الذباب في شراب أحدكم فليغمسه ثم لينزعه، فإن في أحد جناحيه داء وفي الآخر شفاءYou have better knowledge (of a technical skill) in the affairs of the world.
أنتم أعلم بأمر دنياكمIf a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink) and take it out
إذا وقع الذباب في شراب أحدكم فليغمسه ثم لينزعهSo this is a command from him ﷺ and legislation.
