Q3: Is it permissible for two full sisters, or for a mother and her daughter, to travel for Hajj without a mahram from such a non-Muslim town?
A3: It is not permissible for a woman to travel except with a mahram; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 1088 , and a group of women does not suffice in place of a mahram for travel; due to what is authentic from the Prophet regarding the prohibition of that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
