The Ruling on Speaking with the Jinn

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
You say that she has a method that enables her to speak with the jinn. Is it permissible for her to speak with them or not?
Answer: If she speaks with them to call them to Allah, teach them knowledge, guide them to good, and warn them against harming people and oppressing people, all of this is good. However, if she speaks with them to ask them for things from their side, or to make them do such and such, or to make them do such and such with people, or to seek their help in oppressing people or otherwise, then it is not permissible. She should only speak with them if she is able to do so without offering them sacrifices, whether by prostration or otherwise. But mere conversation that she holds with them, which benefits them, is permissible. For example, she admonishes them and reminds them, calls them to Allah, commands them to do what is right, and forbids them from doing what is wrong. All of this is good, just as one does with humans. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
