What is meant by the conjunction in: {Allah will give us from His bounty, and His Messenger}?

Question:
When we advise some of those who claim to be scholars that we must distinguish between the will of Allah and the action of Allah, and also His will and His action, as when you say: "This is from the bounty of Allah," or "from my work," or "from the action of so-and-so," they responded to us with this doubt, which is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messengerوَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ
[At-Tawbah: 59]. Why did He not distinguish between Allah and His Messenger?

Answer:
This giving is from Allah and His Messenger. This is because the giving is from Allah and His Messenger. So Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) gives, and the Messenger—he is the deputy in this—he gives by the command of Allah. Allah commanded him to give from the public treasury whatever he wished. And He said:
indeed, we are desirous toward Allahإِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ
[Surat al-Tawbah:59] and He did not say to the Messenger. So the giving is from Allah and from the Messenger. As for reliance, it is for Allah alone; Allah is sufficient for us, and to Allah is the desire. As for giving, Allah gives, and the Messenger gives by the command of Allah from the public treasury and from what Allah has given him of matters. So if one says, "Allah and His Messenger gave us," or "The Messenger gave us such and such," or "He gave us such and such," there is no blame on him; because the giving from the Messenger is giving from Allah, because Allah commanded him.
