A questioner asks: If a person is in a state of major ritual impurity and has the means to warm the water, but the weather is extremely cold and he fears for his health, should he perform wudu' (the ablution for prayer) or tayammum (dry ablution with clean earth) with dust?

If he fears for his health from using water, he should resort to tayammum (dry ablution with clean earth) with dust.
