Question:
He inquires about the noble verse, I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan: (And Allah spoke to Moses directly). What is the meaning of this? May you be rewarded.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. Among the things by which Allah distinguished Moses (peace be upon him) is that Allah spoke to him directly, and (directly) is an emphasis of His speech. And Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) spoke to him, and Moses (peace be upon him) heard the speech of his Lord (Glorified and Exalted is He). For this reason, Moses is called the one who spoke with Allah.
