Answer: Yes, if matters become difficult for you, seek help with patience first, then with prayer, because prayer helps in bearing hardship. (And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient). And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a matter distressed him or became difficult for him, would turn to prayer and say: "O Bilal, establish the prayer and give us relief through it."
