What is the ruling on a woman offering condolences in the mosque while she is menstruating?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This sister says, “O honorable Shaykh, I have more than one question. The first question: Is it permissible for women, or a woman, to enter the mosque while she is menstruating in order to offer condolences to the women among the family of the deceased?”

Answer:
Answer: It is not permissible for a menstruating woman to sit in the mosque, whether it is the main mosque or any other mosque. She must not sit in the mosque, nor linger in it. However, there is nothing wrong with her passing through with them without sitting. But condolences are not to be given in this manner, where people gather to offer condolences at the cemetery, in the mosque, or in a gathering. Condolences are easy; you offer them when you meet the person, you call them on the mobile phone to offer condolences, you offer them without a gathering and without arrangement. You make du'a for the deceased and for the living. That is what condolences are. And without preparing food, gathering from here and there, and saying, “So-and-so is coming today, and so-and-so is coming tomorrow, and dinner is at so-and-so’s house tomorrow, and today is at this person’s house.” This is an imposition for which Allah has not sent down any authority. Yes.
