Naming the Anashid as Islamic.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is called Islamic Anashid, is this a correct designation, or does it fall under forbidden singing?

Answer:
Answer: Describing them as Islamic is a mistake; it is not correct. There are no such things as Islamic Anashid. Say "Anashid" and leave it at that; do not say "Islamic." This is what the Sufis do; they take Anashid as a form of worship of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). They take singing as a form of worship. Among the Sufis, this is forbidden and invalid; it is invalid and not permissible. Likewise, the partisans take Anashid; the partisans use them to gather people around them. As for the people of truth, they do not take Anashid for a religious purpose as the Sufis do.
