Do we fast on behalf of our sick sister who is in a complete coma?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
My sister says that in Ramadan she was struck by an illness that confined her to bed, and now she is in a coma in the hospital bed and did not fast in Ramadan. Her children are asking: Do we fast on her behalf now? She is in a complete coma and does not realize anything.

Answer:
Answer: Wait. If Allah grants her health and she recovers and is able to make up the fasts, she should make them up whenever she is able. If Allah takes her in this illness and she does not recover from it, she owes nothing. She owes nothing because she was unable to fast.
