What is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding those who mislead the youth

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Among our questions are those who mislead these young people in our present time. What is the ruling of the Shari'ah—in your view—regarding them?

Answer:
Answer: The callers to misguidance exist in every time and place, among the disbelievers, the hypocrites, and the enemies of the religion. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh with them.” The disbelievers are fought with weapons, and the hypocrites are fought with the tongue, by clarifying their doubts and deceptions so that they do not deceive the people. This is especially so because the hypocrites are eloquent and articulate, as He (Exalted and Majestic is He) said regarding them: “And if you speak, you hear their words.” They possess eloquence, so their evil must be refuted with decisive truth and clear explanation for the people. This is the time when there is a need for scholars, each in his field, to clarify and fulfill the obligation upon them, as advice to the Muslim community. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Religion is sincere advice. Religion is sincere advice. Religion is sincere advice.” We said: “For whom, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “For Allah, His Book, His Messenger, the leaders of the Muslims, and their common people.”
