Explaining the virtue of hastening to make up the fasts of Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q417: The questioner asks: Is it permissible to delay making up the fasts of Ramadan until the cold days, due to the intense heat in the summer?
A417: A person must hasten to perform what is owed to him from making up the fasts of Ramadan if he is able, for hastening is undoubtedly the safest for his conscience and the best for him. It is permissible to delay until there are no days left of the coming Ramadan except the number of days he owes, in which case it becomes obligatory for him to fast, and he must not enter a second Ramadan without having made up the fasts while he has the ability.
