Explaining what is obligatory for the fasting person if he experiences a wet dream during the day in Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q346: The questioner asks: What is the ruling for one who experiences a wet dream during the day in Ramadan, and does that affect the validity of his fast or not?
A346: If one experiences a wet dream and discharges, it is obligatory for him to perform the full ritual bath. As for his fast, it is valid; because the wet dream occurs without his choice and without his intention, so it happens to him without his choice, and it does not affect his fast. His fast is valid and free from any defect. However, it is obligatory for the Muslim, if he experiences a wet dream while fasting and discharges, it is obligatory for him to perform the full ritual bath for major ritual impurity.
