The Ruling on Praying Without the Adhan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q181: The questioner says: I have heard that it is not permissible to pray without the adhan, and I live alone in the desert, and I pray, praise be to Allah, but without the adhan. Is my prayer permissible or not? If it is not permissible, what should I do regarding the previous prayers? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with the best reward.
A181: Prayer is permissible without the adhan; however, the adhan is an independent act of worship, it is an announcement of the entry of the time, and a symbol of Islam, and it has great virtue. One should maintain the adhan for every time when it enters, even if a person is alone; for it is recommended (mustahabb) for him to call the adhan and pray, and in that there is great virtue and a great reward. As for if a person prays, or a congregation prays, without the adhan, their prayer is valid, but they miss the reward of the adhan and the reward of the adhan, and Allah knows best.
