The third question from Fatwa No. ( 19898 )
Q3: A fasting person in Ramadan performed tayammum, and some dust entered his mouth and he swallowed it. What is the ruling on that?
A3: If the person who performed tayammum swallowed the dust without intention, his fast is valid; due to the generality of the texts indicating that error and compulsion are lifted from this Ummah. The same applies to swallowing saliva after wudu. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
