The ruling on a woman’s regular attendance at congregational prayer in the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q435: The questioner asks: Is it permissible for a woman to regularly attend congregational prayer in the mosque, and does her husband have the right to prevent her from doing so?
A435: It is permissible for a woman to go out to pray in the mosque, but her prayer in her home is better for her; because her prayer in her home is a cover for her, and a safety for her from exposure to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), either from it or through it, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Do not prevent the women of Allah from the mosques of Allah, and their homes are better for themلا تمنعوا إملاء الله مساجد الله، وبيوتهن خير لهن
And if she goes out to pray in the mosque, she must not be prevented from doing so, and her remaining in her home and praying is better than her going out to the mosque, but if she goes out to the mosque, it is obligatory for her to adhere to the prescribed Islamic etiquettes, by avoiding perfume, avoiding clothing of adornment, avoiding the display of jewelry, and avoiding exposing any part of her body, by covering her face, hands, and feet, and covering herself from men, and if
she adheres to this, then it is permissible for her to go out to pray in the mosque, and she must also be separated from the men in the mosque, not being in the row of men, or mixing with the men, but rather being in the back of the mosque, if there are women with her praying together, or lining up alone behind the men, if she adheres to these prescribed Islamic etiquettes, but if she does not adhere to them, then her husband prevents her from doing so.
