Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q353: The questioner says: We are a group of young men, and we have a rest area. We have a person who prays once and leaves it off another time. When we advise him, he says: "I am still at the beginning of my life, and I have plenty of time in my age." Is it permissible for us to associate with him, eat with him, and drink with him?
A353: If he abandons some of the prayers, then he is a disbeliever; because he is intentionally leaving the prayer. It is obligatory to maintain all the prayers. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Baqarah 2:238],
And He the Exalted said:, and He the Exalted said: . It is obligatory to maintain the prayers, and it is not permissible for a Muslim to intentionally leave even one prayer. So this young man should repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and you should advise him. If he does not comply, then isolate him and stay away from him.
A353: If he abandons some of the prayers, then he is a disbeliever; because he is intentionally leaving the prayer. It is obligatory to maintain all the prayers. Allah the Exalted said:
Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.

And those who are mindful of their prayers
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَAnd those who are constant in their prayers
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
