My leg was amputated, so is Hajj obligatory on me?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 19977 )
Q: I am forty-five years old, praise be to Allah, and I have never performed Hajj before due to my work circumstances, which did not allow me to do so. Allah decreed that I was involved in a car accident, and one of my feet was amputated and the other was dislocated. I am unable to walk except with an iron crutch, and only for very short steps. I am unable to stone the pillars, and I am unable to walk from the standing place to inside the Haram for sa'y and tawaf, and I am unable
to spend the night in Mina for three days. Please inform me, may Allah preserve you: Is there any blame on me if I pay someone to perform this obligatory duty on my behalf?
?

A : You must perform the Hajj of Islam, and perform tawaf and sa'y while being carried or riding in a vehicle. You must stand at 'Arafah and Muzdalifah , and you must appoint someone to stone the pillars on your behalf. If you are unable to spend the night in Mina , it is dropped from you. It is not permissible for you to appoint a proxy while you are able to do what has been mentioned. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
