The second question of Fatwa No. ( 13962 )
Q2: I have an uncle who passed away and left no son. Is it permissible for me to perform Hajj and 'Umrah on his behalf as a voluntary act? He had previously performed Hajj and 'Umrah, but I want the reward of this deed to reach him because of the love I feel for him.
A2 : If you have performed Hajj for yourself, it is permissible for you to perform Hajj on behalf of your deceased uncle, and this is an act of dutifulness toward your uncle.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
