The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18191 )
Q2: What is the ruling on one who takes a fee from people for performing Hajj on their behalf if he has more than his travel expenses?
A2 : If a person is given a sum of money to perform Hajj on behalf of another, and some of that sum remains with him after the costs of Hajj, then if he was conditioned to return it, he must return it; otherwise, it is his. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
