A8: Regarding voluntary fasting: the person fasting has the choice between completing it or breaking it, and completing it is better, unless there is hardship in completing it; in that case, breaking it is better, in order to take the path of ease. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
