Naming with the Mercy of Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18586 )
Q4: What is your opinion regarding these compound names such as: "Rahmat Allah (Mercy of Allah), Rafiq al-Rahman (Companion of the Most Merciful), Gharim Allah (Debtor of Allah), 'Ata Allah (Gift of Allah), Ghulam al-Rahman (Servant of the Most Merciful) " and similar names?
A4: There is no harm in names appended to Allah, such as: (Abdullah, 'Ata Allah, and Rahmat Allah). As for (Rafiq al-Rahman, Gharim Allah, and Ghulam Allah), it is better not to use them for naming; due to the ambiguity of their meaning. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
