The extent of the permissibility of using small sunshades in Hajj that are tied to the head

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 16425 )
Q: I have attached to Your Eminence a sample of small sunshades
that are tied to the head. Since the manufacturer of these sunshades wishes to know the extent of the permissibility of using them in Hajj in order to distribute them, either as gifts or at their cost, I hope Your Eminence will provide me with your opinion on this to complete what is necessary.

A : This headband, which is used to protect against the sun by tying it to the head, has the same ruling as the turban. It is not permissible for one in the state of ihram to wear it; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousersلا يلبس المحرم القميص ولا العمامة ولا السراويلات والبرانس
Sahih Muslim 1177b
This hadith is agreed upon as authentic. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
