Q: Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you, on the ruling of slaughtering the sacrificial animal at al-Ma'ayim during Hajj, and whether it is inside the Haram or outside it? May Allah benefit you with your knowledge and guide your steps.
A: It is permissible to slaughter the sacrificial animal at al-Ma'ayim ; because it is part of the Haram, and everything that is within the miles erected on the boundaries of the Haram is part of the Haram; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Abi Dawud 1937Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani) narrated by Abu Dawud and Ahmad and Ibn Majah . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
