She performed 'Umrah but did not complete it due to fear for her pregnancy

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21749 )
Q: A woman performed 'Umrah but did not complete it due to fear for her pregnancy and her ignorance of what was required of her in that matter. She did not perform a new 'Umrah. Several years later, she performed Hajj as a mutamatti'ah and performed Hajj on behalf of her mother. Is her Hajj valid, and what is required of her? Note that she did not perform a second 'Umrah before her Hajj; that is, she entered Hajj while in a state of a defective 'Umrah. Please inform us, may you be rewarded.
A: The 'Umrah that took place before the Hajj is considered a continuation of the defective 'Umrah
if intercourse occurred, provided that intercourse took place before she performed the 'Umrah of tamattu'. Her Hajj is considered Hajj ifrad. She must perform a valid 'Umrah, entering ihram from the miqat from which she entered ihram for the first 'Umrah. She is also required to sacrifice an animal, which is to be slaughtered in Makkah and distributed to the poor as a fidyah for ruining the 'Umrah through intercourse, if intercourse did occur. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
